Where does your Meat & Poultry come from?
Yes all of our products are freshly prepared and cooked.
We only use the finest ingredients.
We source fresh British fruit and vegetables twice a week from local suppliers.

We only source British meat & poultry from the best suppliers. All of our products are freshly delivered 3 times a week to us.
We inspect and ensure all of our products meet our quality standards.
Is your food prepared and cooked separately?
Yes all of our products are prepared and cooked in strict measures.
We ensure that we minimise cross contamination and meet the best standards.
Do you have a lunch menu?
Yes we have a lunch menu that runs from midday until 4pm. Our lunch menu features some of our lighter meal options.

Do you have a cocktail menu?
Yes we have a cocktail menu with a wide range of cocktails where you can find popular classics with an Indian Tavern Twist!

Do you cater for coeliacs?
Yes many of our dishes are gluten free. All of our dishes which are gluten free are labelled on our menus.

Do you have allergens information?
Yes we have an allergens guide on our website with a comprehensive list of allergens for all our dishes.
If you have any allergen and intolerance concerns please consult this even if you’ve eaten with us before as our recipes can change.

Do you have a vegan and vegetarian menu?
We do not have a separate Vegan and Vegetarian menu however all items are clearly marked on our menus.

We do not have a separate gluten free menu however all gluten free items are clearly marked on our menus.

Do you have a children’s menu?
We do not have a separate Childrens menu however we have plenty of options for children on our menus.

What safeguards do you have in place to ensure those suffering from allergies can eat safely in your restaurants?
All of our staff undergo extensive allergen training and there are checks in place to make every effort to safeguard against errors.
We have an Allergen Guide identifying all the allergens in our dishes which you can view online at www.theindiantavern.co.uk/allergens
or you can ask a member of staff for a printed copy.
We cannot guarantee our dishes are 100% free from allergens as some ingredients may contain traces.
Ingredients and recipes can change, so please review our Allergen Guide and let your server know of any allergies or intolerances before ordering.
2. Table Booking
How do I make a booking?
To make a reservation please click here.
We require a Bank card to secure your booking this helps us with no shows & cancellations.
Nothing is charged to your card and your details are securely with our third party booking system.
We do not accept bookings over the phone as this can lead to incorrect information please book online.
Can I cancel or amend my Booking?
You should receive a text and email confirmation when you make a reservation this will also allow you to modify or cancel your reservation. We require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations.
Do you take deposits for larger bookings?
We require a deposit for larger bookings. A member of the team will contact you to discuss this.
3. Our Restaurant
Is there parking at our Restaurant?
You can park directly in front of our premises for free for 5 hours.
Alternatively you can park at the Waterfront East car park for free all day.
Please be aware that the Waterfront has a one way system with ANPR cameras.
We do not have control of the cameras so please be mindful when parking.
Do you have baby changing and high chairs?
Yes we welcome children and babies we have made our restaurant as family friendly as possible.
Please ask a member of staff for a high chair should you need one.
We also have baby changing facilities present on site.
What times can children visit the restaurant?
We are a family friendly restaurant we do not impose time limits for children however please ensure the best interests of the child at all times.
Do you do private functions?
Yes we do private hires of our venue however please speak to a member of staff by calling 01384 933 327 or email us at enquiries@indiantavern.co.uk.
Is your Resturant Wheelchair friendly?
Yes our restaurant is wheelchair friendly we also have an accessible toilet on site. Should you require any assistance please ask a member of staff for assistance.
Do you have outdoor seating at your restaurants?
Yes we do have outside seating overlooking the Waterfront please book your outside table here.
Are your restaurants dog friendly?
The only animals allowed in our restaurants are assistance dogs, which are most welcome.
We do allow dogs on our outside terrace please ensure no mess is left behind.
